Get rid of your fear and start changing your life today

Life changes quickly. If you are too slow making decisions, opportunities will pass before you have a chance to act. Over the last few weeks I’ve learned a lot about who I am, how I work, and how much I’m willing to work to get where I want. Frankly, at first, I was disappointed with what I have done in my life to this point. Yes, I do have a college degree, a masters of science and am attending law school, but I never put 100% of myself into anything I’ve done. Why? I do not know.

Am I lacking passion? I don’t think so… I love learning! I love that I started my own business! The more I think about it… the clearer the reason becomes… can you guess it?

FEAR!

Fear. I have not put 100% of my effort into anything that I’ve done because I am afraid of failure! How silly does that sound? I am afraid to fail so I set myself up for failure!

NOT ANYMORE!

For those of you who have been here since the beginning, you know I’ve been blogging for about four years. Writing has always been a passion. A passion I gave up because I was AFRAID that I would never turn it into a career. Yet, when I saw a post that said “Earn money by blogging every day,” something stirred inside me – at first I thought it was the Checkers’ burger I had but soon realized it was something else!

I already blog… not every day but that was always a goal, so why not blog every day and FEAR AWAY CHANGEEARN MONEY? With over $200,000 in debt, you’d think the choice was clear. Nonetheless, I was afraid – afraid to spend anything I did not have. The cost was $25/month for a basic blogging system and some training videos. Seriously? How is this supposed to make me $1000 a day (like one ad stated)? I was skeptical so I waited it out… I did some research… I added a woman who seemed to be rolling in dough using this system… and I waited.

Quote from http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/06/opinion/bennett-student-debt:

Unlike credit card debt or automobile loans, student loans are virtually impossible to liquidate, even after declaring bankruptcy. So 20- and 30-year-olds buried under student loan debt are forced to put off other purchases crucial to the health of the economy, like buying a car or home or investing in the markets. Many are moving back in with their parents and delaying marriage and starting a family, two of the most vital building blocks to a healthy and prosperous economy. Valuable human capital is withering before it can even set its roots.

Then… I watched the video.

What the heck was I waiting for? At that moment I made an important decision, if I was going to try this then I was going to jump in all the way! I was not going to just “try it out”, I was not going to have a back up plan… I was going to go all in and put EVERYTHING on the line!

As David Wood says (from http://workwithdavidwood.com/)

“Don’t be a wussy, just get in!”

It is now two weeks since I started this journey. I’ve made $25 in residual income, meaning I’ll receive it every month. Obviously, it is nowhere close to $1000 a day, but I have watched and attended over 20 hours of training and learned valuable information about SEO, increasing traffic, social media marketing, etc. Based on all of the people I have connected with through my team (#TNS Team No Sleep), I know that this is a job. I am building a network and discovering the methods that work best for my audience and me. In two weeks, I’ve had over 200 views on my new empower network blog, my personal blog has increased from 10 views/day to 100/day and my business page already has 56 likes!

Some people do not believe this works. Some people are skeptical. Some think this is a scam. Honestly, I agree with them. I thought this was, too, until I let go of my fear. I’ve learned everything I need to make myself successful in this—or ANY—business! I want to share this with others because it is changing my life. For the first time in my eight years of higher education, I have REAL hope that I may graduate next year with less than $215,000 in debt.

My plan is to pay off my credit cards (roughly $6,500), pay off 25% of my student loans (~$20,000) and possibly save $10,000 for a down payment on a new car… mine is almost 10 years old and 50 miles away from 100,000!

I want people to ask me about empower network. I want to share the wealth. I want to help others let go of their fear!
